This is a site for my work, my practice, and my portfolio (the good, the bad, the ugly). I'm an aspiring, barely entry-level, newb web developer/designer with no professional experience, but I am trying to learn and expand my skills.

I enjoy writing code and debugging. I can get tied up over perfecting small details, but overall I try to emphasize correctness and validation.

Progress and Patience

One of the first things recruiters have asked me recently: "Do you have an online portfolio?" My answer: "No."

Then my next question to myself is "WHY NOT??" Shouldn't a web developer/designer have some sort of online presence... since that's what we're students of and professionals in......?

So after arriving very late to that game, I've started rebuilding and practicing to create a more significant profile and completement my resume. I say "rebuilding" because about 15 years ago I maintained a personal website dedicated to anime which I updated religiously. I realize now that I had barely scratched the surface of what HTML and CSS (and Javascript and PHP etc. etc. etc.) can do.

I have a lot of work to do! :)
